Rust College’s Head Tennis Coach Venecca Green Selected for Prestigious NCAA Women Coaches Academy Class #55
The NCAA Women Coaches Academy is a nationally recognized leadership development program that provides women coaches from all collegiate levels with tools to elevate their careers, strengthen their leadership, and enhance their impact on student-athletes. This year's class features 78 women coaches representing 18 different sports and a combined 679 years of coaching experience.
Coach Green's selection is a testament to her dedication to excellence, leadership, and continued growth within the coaching profession. As the Head Tennis Coach at Rust College, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing Bearcat Athletics while fostering an environment that emphasizes both athletic and academic success for her student-athletes.
"Coach Green's participation in this prestigious program reflects the high caliber of leadership within our athletics department," said Director of Athletics Jeremy Patterson. "Her commitment to professional development and the student-athlete experience continues to raise the standard for Rust College Athletics."
The WeCOACH program empowers women coaches through collaboration, education, and mentorship. Since its inception, more than 2,400 coaches have graduated from the Academy, many of whom have gone on to make significant impacts in college athletics.
Rust College celebrates Coach Green's continued growth and leadership and looks forward to the positive influence her participation will bring to the Bearcat tennis program and beyond.
