Jasmine Coleman Selected To GCAC All-Second Team

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Rust College volleyball program saw one of its top offensive stars get rewarded by the conference on Friday as outside hitter Jasmine Coleman was named an All-GCAC Second Teamer as voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.

Coleman, a 5-foot-8 senior from Ganado, Arizona, ranked 77th in the NAIA & fourth in the GCAC for service aces per set (0.44) this season while leading the Lady Bearcats in both points (178) and kills (143).

The former women's basketball standout ended the regular season with the fourth-best points per set average (3.30), the fifth-highest kills per set ratio (2.65), and tenth-best hitting percentage (0.164) in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.

For the 2022 campaign, she totaled 178 points (3.3 p/s), 143 kills (2.65 p/s), 124 digs (2.30 p/s), 24 aces (0.44 p/s), 17 blocks (0.31), 15 assists (0.28 p/s), & hit .164 in her lone season as a volleyball student-athlete.
